We are currently seeking a Retail Salesperson/Optical Assistant to be part of our team at Specsavers in Nyköping. The position is 70% employment and you will be employed permanently with a 6-month probation period. The position is set to start in January - 26 or by agreement.

Your responsibilities include:

• We do not expect you to have any previous experience in optics, although it is an advantage. You will participate in a comprehensive introductory course (practical training in-store combined with digital courses) where you will learn everything about the optical industry and how we work. After the course, you will be the expert that customers meet in our store. In your role at Specsavers, you will:
• Welcome customers, explain why it is so important to have an eye examination, and clarify our concept and offers
• Help customers find the right frames, lenses, and/or contact lenses based on the optician's recommendations
• Ensure customers leave the store with a smile on their face – and that they will gladly return
• Be an ambassador for Specsavers' goal of making better eye health accessible to everyone

Our opening hours are:

• Monday-Friday 09:00-18:00
• Saturday 10:00-16:00
• Sundays and public holidays closed

You are expected to work according to a rotating schedule, with shifts scheduled on both weekdays and Saturdays.
